CVS Improper Customer Info Handling is Enough to Make You Sick

Reuters reports the Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott sued CVS/Caremark Corp “after finding customer records with personal information such as driver license and credit card numbers in the trash behind one of the drugstore chain’s Texas stores.”

“Medical prescription forms with name, address, date of birth, issuing physician and the types of medication prescribed were found, along with hundreds of active debit and credit card numbers with expiration date…” and a lot more.

While this was only one store, how lucky they happened to peak into the dumpster. It makes you wonder how long this has been going on, and in how many stores.

Where does the money go from the lawsuit?
